Trust

TRUST. As you seek to keep your Lenten commitments, I challenge you to trust God. There are often roads I dare not travel and things I’m too afraid to commit to doing, all because I do not trust God. What could you accomplish if you fully trusted God? What dreams and goals could you conquer if you fully trusted God? What healing and wholeness could you attain if you fully trusted God?

Even when you don’t fully trust yourself, trust God. Trust that God will allow the Holy Spirit dwelling within you to guide you to be able to trust yourself more; to trust your heart, mind and spirit more to make decisions and to flow in the direction of your highest good. As you continue to journey this Lenten season, my prayer is that you will remain faithful to your existing commitments and set new goals. Set new goals as if you truly know God is with you and the power of the Holy Spirit dwells within you. Dare to ask yourself and authentically answer this question: What am I holding onto that I refuse to release to God because I do not fully trust God? What dreams, what relationships, what habits, what addictions, what insecurities, what pain, what fears, what hopes what are you holding onto that you haven’t fully released to God because you do not fully trust God…to help manifest, mend, break, build, heal, release, and restore. My prayer is for each of us to possess the audacity to trust God fully, so that we might be liberated to live and love abundantly. ~Rev. Yorri
